Singing Our Cemeteries
April 23, 2026 - 6:00 PM - Minerva Community Center
|
Singing Our Cemeteries explores how local cemeteries can open the door to genealogy research. Through music, storytelling, and shared history, this program highlights how headstones, inscriptions, and burial sites can help trace family connections and uncover the lives of those who came before us.
Join Kate McCormick, Don Seauvageau, Teresa Brannon Strohmeyer, Sharon Stone, and Mike Corey for an evening of music, local history, and genealogy. Through the music of Marjorie Lansing Porter and Dan Berggren, along with archival letters, diaries, and maps, this program explores the lives and legacies found within our local cemeteries. |
