WHO WE ARE

Local Societies Collaborate
MHS Vision Board Workshop
President's Column January 2025 Quarterly Edition

Greetings Everyone

The Society has lots of exciting news to share for 2025.
The Museum theme this year will be Minerva Schools – A Century of Memoires:  1925 – 2025. Events are in the works for this celebration.  Please see the article beginning on page 1 for more information.
The Minerva Volunteer Fire Department is celebrating its 75th anniversary.  Cameron Dubay is working on the history of the department.  If you have memorabilia or stories to share, please reach out to him.
Our Historical Society turns 70 this year.  The Quarterly has been in publication for 54 of those years.  We hope that you enjoy this issue which focuses on the Class of 2025 as well as some history on what education was like for high school students in Minerva, both prior to the formation of Olmstedville High/Union School and during its early years.
There will be more history and information on upcoming events in future issues of the Quarterly as well as on our website and social media.
If you have stories, photos or other memorabilia to share please contact Cynthia Perkins at [email protected] or 518-494-7193.
Happy New Year

MHS President
Nancy W. Shaw
